Women handball players of ”Zrinjski” made the biggest achievement in the history of BiH women basketball by defeating HC ”Kumanovo” from Macedonia, and thus qualified to quarterfinals of Challenge Cup.
They defeated Kumanovo with 30:18 and the most efficient player for Zrinjski was Andrea Prusina with 7 goals, followed by Ana Vrančić with six goals.
Zrinjski is the club tha plays in the Handball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is part of the Zrinjski Mostar sport society. It has been one of the most successful women’s handball clubs in the country since the formation of the national league in 2001.
