Construction works on the renovation and reconstruction of Merhemica Square in the settlement of Ciglane in Sarajevo, which started in mid-July this year, are finalized with the installation of granite plates on a surface of 600 square meters. Workers from the construction company “Bosman” were contractors.

They also completed the construction of the staircase and access ramps for the passage of people in wheelchairs. The staircase and the access ramp are covered with a coat that is resistant to all weather conditions.

They also noted that the works are performed on the basis of the contract for the reconstruction of a part of the square, which was signed on May 23, 2017, by Mayor Nedzad Ajnadzic, on behalf of the Municipality Center as the financier of the project, and by director of the company “Bosman” Ltd. Sarajevo, Medina Jahic, on behalf of the contractor of the works.

“The value of the project was estimated at 286.222 BAM, and funds were provided by the Municipality Centar from this year’s budget. With the realization of this project, except for the arranged central part of Merhemica Square, the entrance and passage for motor vehicles will be disabled, in order to prevent damage to new panels in the renovated square, which was a problem in previous years,” as said in the statement.
