World Cup in Power lifting to be held in Sarajevo

power lifting sportsWorld Cup in powerlifting by GPC rules will be held on 1st and 2nd  April in Sarajevo, where the great number of participants is expected.

Powerlifting represents an individual sport with usage of power and includes three disciplines: squat, bench press and deadlift. The goal of powerlifting is to pick up as more weight as possible in all three disciplines, through three attempts for each discipline. Moreover, it is expected from the sportsmen at the same time to respect the clearly defined rules and judicial decisions.

The organizers of the World competition are Gym Shark Club and Club 300 from Sarajevo. Applications for the competition are open until 15th March, after which there will be a classification and sorting by category.
