Young Basketball Players qualified for the Quarter-Finals and defeated Italy

Young Basketball Players oslobodjenje.baAfter yesterday’s victory against the team of Italy within the European Championship, the junior basketball national team of B&H qualified among the best eight teams in Europe.

After a difficult path, the BH basketball players managed to record an excellent result in yesterday’s game against Italy, where they celebrated with a result of 72:59, which qualified them for the quarter-finals of the European Championship.

Our representatives imposed their way of playing already in the first quarter in which they celebrated with 23:11, while they took the half-time break with fifteen points of advantage. In the third quarter, the hosts managed to play better than the guests, but in the final our BH basketball players, headed by Atic and Aleksic, managed to ensure themselves the qualifications for the quarter-finals.

The most successful in our team were Atic with 24 and Aleksic with 16 points, while the best in the selection of Italy were Bolpin with 20 and Moretti with 13 points.
