Youth from the Diaspora got the Opportunity to spend the Summer in their Homeland and find a Job

The recently launched USAID project “Diaspora Invest” in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) (AmCham) announced a public invitation for members of BiH diaspora for participation in the Summer Internship Program – WelcomeBack.

The invitation includes young people from 18 to 30 years of age, who want to experience business practice in one of the companies in their homeland, which corresponds to their profession, direction, interest and needs.

“This invitation includes members of the BiH diaspora (people originally from BiH who have lived abroad for at least 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years) who are between 18 and 30 years old, and who are: undergraduate and postgraduate students studies, or have completed undergraduate or postgraduate studies”, said the USAID project “Diaspora Invest”.

Interns will have the opportunity to do internships in companies in BiH over the summer.

“The internship would last 30 days in the summer period in accordance with individual plans that will be developed in accordance with the needs of the host companies and interns. The project will ensure co-financing of the trip to BiH and other costs and fees for the internship,” the program organizers note.

Applications are available on the form http://www.bit.ly/diaspora-internship-2023 (or by direct inquiry to the e-mail prajvajna@diasporainvest.ba), and the deadline for submitting the necessary information is March 30th, 2023. years.

“It is time to build a network of young people, members of the BiH diaspora, who want to renew their connection with their homeland and gain their first work experience here. Only in this way can we count on them to put their contacts and future professional path at the service of economic and social development of this country”, they conclude.
