This morning around 9:30 a.m. during the border control in Metković, police officers from the Metković Border Police Station spotted the dead body of a middle-aged man on the train.

It is a train with a composition of open freight wagons that traveled from the direction of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the route Mostar – Ploče.

The investigation found no traces of a criminal offense at the scene, and the body of the deceased man was transported to the Department of Pathology of the Dubrovnik hospital, where an autopsy will be conducted and the cause of death and the identity of the deceased will be determined, the Dubrovnik-Neretva Public Prosecutor’s Office announced.

The circumstances of this event are being determined, and the police in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been informed about this, Klix.ba reports.
