The Deputy President of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H, Zlatko Lagumdžija addresses his letter of condolences to the State Secretary of the United States, Hillary Clinton on the occasion of the tragic event at the Primary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
” With this letter I offer my honest condolences on the occasion of the death of children and adults in the Primary school in Newtown. Our nation is in shock. Our thought and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims, as well as with all people in America. This unthinkable tragic event had broken our hearts, especially those who know how it feels to be a parent. Today we have lost our children and we share our grief and sorrow with parents that lost their loved ones. We join in their prayers but we must not forget that the evil-doing has multiple faces. We have to fight against evil around the world, in order to secure that the tragedy of Newtown does not happen to anyone ever again”- stated in the letter of Zlatko Lagumdžija. Adam Lanza, a 20 year old man, the suspect for the massacre at the Newtown Primary school ” Sandy Hook”, committed suicide shortly after the massacre. In the shooting, twenty children were killed and six adults were injured, including Adam’s mother. The police identified the shooter as the 27th victim, who committed suicide after the massacre.
