winter seasonThis year’s winter season at Olympic mountains Bjelasnica and Igman is the most successful one in last 20 years, and if it continues with the current pace and visit, ZOI ’84 will have the best season from its establishment.

Those information were announced to FENA by the director of the Ski- Center Bjelasnica-Igman, Sead Jusic.

The winter season was opened on 20th December, Ski-Center started with work eight days later. From 28th December to 22nd January, 200.000 guests have visited Igman and Bjelasnica.

Jusic emphasized that they expect more than 250.000 guests until the end of the season.

He emphasized that only ski lift transported more than 80.000 skiers and visitors in January.

“We have the highest income so far since war“, said Jusic.

It was planned for season to be opened until 15th April, but there is a possibility of prolonging it because of snow.

Jusic pointed out that they are working rapidly at the preparation of summer contents, and reminded that during January, ZOI ’84 published tenders worth 20 million BAM for the reconstruction of devastates objects, and for the purchase of additional machines for artificial snow and lifts.

“For three and half months we have provided large sums of money, and it is a very good step. The future of the company and income is not questionable“, concluded Jusic.
