tuzlaThe town of Tuzla will establish a production zone Krek Sjever, on the site of the former landfill, on an attractive area on the western entrance to the city, which provides an opportunity for the development of sites for the creation of small and medium enterprises, and 29 separate production and processing complexes.

This unit represents a completely unbuilt space, which is for years neglected and served mainly as landfill of waste, and construction of the first facilities are expected during 2017.

Slavko Stjepić, Head of Spatial Planning and Environment of the City of Tuzla, expects that this project will be very successful because it will be made as a model that is unique in BiH and will provide favorable conditions for investors to open new, and expand the existing companies.

“The model is designed so the land will not be sold, but will be given in the lease with the guarantee of a minimum of one job per 100 square meters, and will, with minimal lease, get the right to build his own object”said Stjepić.

According to earlier projections, close to 30 companies will be placed in a commercial zone Krek Sjever and Stjepić expects to start building a minimum of five manufacturing facilities for various purposes this year.
