The head of the Regional Office of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in Sarajevo is positive for the coronavirus, so many of the agency’s employees will need to be isolated.

According to the Klix.ba news portal, the head of the regional office is directly connected with 80 employees, and a total of about 450 people work in the entire building.

The infected person complied with the safety recommendations, but testing showed that he was positive for coronavirus. SIPA told Klix.ba that they are acting on the recommendations of the epidemiological service and that it will only be estimated how many employees of this state agency will go into isolation.

So far, 1096 people have been infected in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the start of the pandemic, and the number of newly infected people in our country varies from 20 to 50 per day.

The measures prescribed by the authorities are still in force, meaning they prohibit movement for those over 65 and under 18 throughout the day, curfew from 8 pm to 5 am for everyone.  Also wearing protective masks and gloves is a must, as well as social distance.
