A donation from UNICEF of Bosnia and Herzegovina, worth some 36.000 BAM, was handed over to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska entity on Wednesday.

The donation consists of 936 pieces of protective glasses worth 5.152 BAM and 400 non-contact infrared thermometers, worth 30.903 BAM.

“The same donation for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is almost ready and the Federal Public Health Institute is taking final administrative steps,” UNICEF stated in a press release.

Acting Director of the RS Institute of Public Health Branislav Zeljkovic thanked for that valuable donation and stated that it is not only useful for the Institute but also for other health and educational institutions.

He also pointed out that the Institute has a long-term cooperation with UNICEF and expressed hope that it will continue in the future.

Recently, representatives of UNICEF and USAID handed over to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Srpska tablets and telephones for 28 mental health centers in RS.
