As of today, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro must have a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours, to enter Northern Macedonia.

Such a decision was made by the Government of Northern Macedonia at the proposal of the Commission for Infectious Diseases, due to, as explained, the significant spread of coronavirus in three countries in the region.

The recommendation of the Commission was adopted after considering the epidemiological situation in those countries, and in accordance with the information of the health authorities of those countries, the Macedonian Ministry of Health announced.

Northern Macedonia opened all border crossings on June 17th, but made entry conditional with a negative PCR test and a two-week self-isolation, to lift the restrictive measures on June 26th.
