Total Seasonally adjusted Turnover in Hotels recorded Decrease of 70 Percent

In the second quarter of this year, compared to the first quarter, the total seasonally adjusted turnover in hotels and restaurants in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina decreased by 69.6 percent.

Turnover in the area of accommodation decreased by 84.3 percent compared to the first quarter of 2020, and turnover in the preparation and serving of food and beverages decreased by 50.3 percent, according to new data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

Calendar-adjusted total turnover in hotels and restaurants in the second quarter of 2020 in the Federation BiH fell by 70.3 percent, compared to the second quarter of 2019.

In the area of accommodation, the turnover was lower by 82.5 percent compared to the turnover realized in the same quarter of 2019, and in the activity of preparation and serving of beverages by 55.2 percent.
