The 16th Youth Film Festival (OFF) was opened with a solemn ceremony at the Youth Theater in Sarajevo. Director of OFF Kenan Music announced a spectacular program for the next eight days, and he used the opportunity to thank the companies and institutions that contributed to the organization of the event, which prioritizes youth and youth development through film.
At tonight’s event, Montenegrin actor Lazar Dragojević was presented with the award for the best male role in the series ‘I know how you breathe’, written by Jasmila Žbanić and Damir Ibrahimović.
At the ceremony, and before that in a statement to the media, the actor emphasized that it was his first award for that series and he was very emotional. He is grateful to the team that worked on that series, especially Jasmila Žbanić and Damir Ibrahimović.
He sees it as the fruits of his labor and says ‘they are very juicy’. Every actor, especially a young one, is honored to receive an award for his effort and work.
The organizers announced the best Festival so far and invited citizens to once again be a part of the great festival atmosphere, which this year lasts from July 19 to 26.
Tonight’s opening ceremony was attended by well-known figures from various fields, Fena writes.
