Bosnia records New COVID-19 Cases

In the past 24 hours, 2,540 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 801 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all the cantons in the Federation of BiH.

As of today, 19,282 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery was registered  in 199 patients. Currently, there are 10,524 active cases of SARS-CoV-2 in the FBiH. In the past 24 hours, 21 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 777, 516 men and 261 women, Fena news agency reports.

In the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health of the entity of Republika Srpska tested 1,227 samples and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 648 people. Nine deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health in the last 24 hours.

The total number of hospitalized in the RS is 661, in the University Clinical Center Banja Luka 250, and in general hospitals 411. Currently, 11,039 people are under health supervision.
