180 Members of Armed Forces of BiH took the Solemn Oath

The solemn ceremony on the occasion of the admission of the 25th class of candidates to the professional military service of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) was held today at the Basic Training Center (COO) – “Zaim Imamovic” barracks in Pazaric.

By taking the solemn oath, 180 members, 22 of whom are women, showed their readiness to join the mission and tasks of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Addressing at the beginning of the ceremony, COO Commander Colonel Alem Kaplan told the candidates to leave the Basic Training Center with successfully adopted basic military knowledge, skills and standards needed to serve honorably in their future commands and units.

He congratulated them on their future vocation and invited them to wear the AFBiH uniform with honor and perform their future tasks with quality.

On this occasion, Commander Kaplan thanked the military and civilians of the Basic Training Center, and especially the commanders of detachments, platoons and companies who had the responsible task of training candidates in basic military skills and congratulated them on their professionalism and successfully completed training tasks.

Candidates and present guests were also addressed by the Chief of Staff of the Training and Doctrine Command, Brigadier Danko Petrusic, who greeted those present on behalf of the Training and Doctrine Command and pointed out that the candidates had only started the training process for military service.

The brigadier added that he was glad to see 22 women among the candidates, which proves that they equally occupy a place in the AFBiH, and he wished everyone personal and family happiness, health and a successful military career.

Great effort and commitment were shown by all candidates at the training, and the best results during the training of the 25th class of soldiers were achieved by Ratko Dukic, Irma Sandal and Grgur Coric, who were praised on this occasion.
