The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 180 women in Gaza give birth every day in dangerous and inhumane conditions due to Israeli attacks and occupation.

Many of these women are said to be unable to reach hospitals because Israeli forces are blocking ambulances.

To draw attention to the seriousness of the situation, the Red Crescent shared on social media the conversation of the phone call of the medical teams with the family of a pregnant woman in the Gaza Strip who did not reach the hospital in time to give birth.

According to the audio recording, one of the Red Crescent doctors, who spoke with the nurse of the woman in labor, tried to help her family by providing instructions to enable the woman to give birth safely at home.

The representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Dominic Allen announced that in Gaza in the last 100 days about 18 thousand births were recorded and that UNFPA could not provide the necessary services, and the situation in the hospital is very bad.

More than 23,800 Palestinians have been killed and more than 60,000 injured in Israeli attacks since October 7 on the Gaza Strip.
