The Federation of Trade Unions of Police Bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which consists of the SIPA Trade Union, the BP BiH Trade Union and the DKPT BiH Trade Union, will hold peaceful protests in front of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly building on Monday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The aim of the protest is to express dissatisfaction with the material and financial status and attitude of government representatives towards employees of police agencies at the level of BiH with the demands of the adoption of amendments to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations of Employees in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which envisages an increase in the coefficients for calculating salaries by 0.20 to the rank of “senior inspector”.

Also, they ask for the aadoption of the budget for 2022 and urgent amendment of the Decision on reimbursement of transportation costs to and from work.
