The European Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (EASME) published a public call as a part of its COSME program to support small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship in the fashion and tourism industries.

Projects for the development of new products and materials, design and production, retail and production, as well as projects aimed at the development of creative industries in various forms of tourism (active tourism, business tourism, cultural tourism, etc.) can apply, both in the EU market and abroad.

This instrument of the COSME program, it is explained, is aimed at development and support for accelerators, incubators and other organizations to support high-technology innovative and creative start-up companies and small and medium enterprises.

Applicants must form an international consortium – a business network made up private or public institutions that are providing support to start-up companies and small and medium enterprises (business incubators, accelerators and other relevant organizations), carriers of public authorizations at the national, regional and local levels and profit organization. The consortiums must have at least four legal entities from three EU member-states or COSME states.

The total budget of the public call is 2.6 million Euros, of which 1.6 million is dedicated to the fashion industry and 1 million for the tourism industry, while the maximum share of co-financing is 75%.

Applications can be submitted electronically until October 19th, 2017. You can find more details here.
