hotel-zlatisteIn the continuation of negotiations on the implementation of a major investment project at the locality of Vranjače-Zlatište, the conceptual design of the future hotel “Sarajevo Palace” was presented on Thursday, December 15, at the premises of the Centar Municipality.

As of February this year representatives of the Centar Municipality have been negotiating with potential investor from Berlin, Mirsad Fikić, regarding the implementation of the project of a hotel that the investors want to build at the mentioned locality.

“I am happy and satisfied with results of the meeting at which we confirmed our partnership. The new facility is supposed to cover 56.000 square meters and it would be connected with the city by a cable car from Skenderija to Zlatište, with large platforms that will provide amazing sights of Sarajevo. Through this project we will bring in other activities as well, from construction to food industry,” said Fikić.

Fikić added that he spoke with potential investors, some of whom are originally from BiH, and presented the project whose initial worth would be around 250.000 million EUR.

“The hotel, which should employ around 300 people, would have 250 rooms and 108 suites, and it would also have royal and presidential suites as a special part of our rich offer. There would also be a large congress hall with the capacity of 2.000 people. According to our estimates, doors of the hotel could be opened in six to seven years,” said Fikić after the presentation of the conceptual design.
