As a result of Israeli attacks, about 25,000 children in the Gaza Strip lost one or both parents, and the homes of about 640,000 children were destroyed or damaged.

According to a statement published on the website of the European-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights (Euro-Med), Israel has killed more than 10,000 babies and children in attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

According to the Observatory, 23,012 Palestinians, including 9,077 children, have been killed so far in Israel’s intense air and artillery attacks on the Gaza Strip.

While hundreds of children remain under the rubble of collapsed buildings, with very little chance of survival, Euro-Med predicts that the total number of child deaths will exceed 10,000.

Euro-Med noted that around 700,000 children were affected by the war in Gaza, and that number includes those killed, injured and internally displaced.

More than 18,000 Palestinian children have been wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, many of them in critical condition.

In addition, according to Euro-Med, around 25,000 children in the Gaza Strip have lost one or both parents.
