The organizer of this year’s international book fair is center Skenderija, and partners are TKD “Šahinpašić” and the Association of Publishers and Booksellers (UIK). Entrance for visitors, which will officially open tonight, is free.

Visitors will have the chance to familiarize themselves with the latest, but also to find older editions of books, at the stands of more than 100 exhibitors from B&H, countries in the region and in the entire world.

The first 15 visitors at the fair were awarded books given to them by TDK Šahinpašić, UIK and the office for culture and tourism of Turkey to the Turkish Embassy in B&H.

Direktor TDK Šahinpašić Ajdin Šahinpašić told Anadola Agency that the international book fair this year includes the promotion of publishing houses, literary works, organization of round tables on current topics from the area of literature and librarianship, meeting with winners of literary awards, promotion of cultural centers of other countries and many other interesting activities.

‘’We have two supporting events that will mark this fair. It is an international meeting of Slavic librarians and an exhibition of Herthe Muller.
