More than 30 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina applied for participation at the economic conference in Austria within which it is planned to hold an organized stock exchange offer for investors or buyers of goods that are especially designed for companies that have suffered damages during floods, the Foreign Trade Chamber (FTC) BH confirmed to FENA.
Most applicants are from the metal processing sector – five companies, four applicants are in the manufacturing furniture and four in food processing, and three companies from the construction sector.
Besides these sectors, among the applicants are also those which are enagaged in international transport, publishing, production of packaging, production of textile products, manufacturing of flooring, energy, forestry and the production of cleaning products and electrical equipment.
The Chamber said that profiles of the applicants at the conference and their suggestions for different types of cooperation will be delivered to the Austrian Chamber of Commerce which will deliver their offers to Austrian companies and, in line with that, make arrangements for bilateral meetings during the conference.
The Foreign Trade Chamber BiH announced on September 8 that the BiH Foreign Ministry received the initiative for organizing an economic conference in Austria and the suggested date was November 20, 2014.
