12966054_1150108708373417_1738868108_nBasic training for “police officer” was successfully completed by 45 attendees of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of FBiH. As of today, they are becoming authorized officials at service to the citizens of FBiH.

“Your success in the police work will depend on the trust that the citizens have in you, because only for them and with them you can entirely fulfill your role in the society. You must ensure their safety with your authority,” stated the Head of Department of Basic Training Nusret Beširević at yesterday’s promotion of the 26th generation of attendees of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of FBiH in Sarajevo.

Beširević expressed expectation that these 30 attendees from the Tuzla Canton and 15 from the Federal Police Administration (i.e. the Ministry of Internal Affairs of FBiH) will primarily be characterized with professionalism, participation in the fight against all types of criminal, and respect of human rights and freedoms.

Moreover, Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration Ensad Korman and the Commissar of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton Fadil Šljivić wished the new police officers success in their future work, and together with other associates awarded them their diplomas.

The attendees achieved a very good result with an average grade of 4.47 and are the last generation that has been in training for 13 months, according to the old concept.

The next generation of police officers will be in training for eight months, which includes five months of theoretical and three months of practical work.
