The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the project “Olympic Battlegrounds and Ecologically Sustainable Development 2019”, again this year was the special partner of the volunteer action “Let’s Do It – One Million Seedlings in 1 Day”.

Olympic Committee BiH helped plant 6,250 white pine seedlings near Dejcici. Seedlings and expert staff were provided by the KJP Sarajevo Forests. The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina has contributed logistically, financially and voluntarily.

A record number of volunteers, close to 800 volunteers of all generations, have signed up for action this year.

The OCBiH states that environmental protection, and therefore the Olympic battlefields, is one of the priorities of both the Olympic Movement, the BiH Olympic Committee and every individual.
