On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Battle of the Wounded on the Neretva and the 76th anniversary of the victory over fascism, the SABNOR delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and SABNOR BiH cantonal associations and the mayor of Jablanica will lay flowers and pay tribute to all fighters who gave their lives for victory over fascism on May 8th.

The laying of flowers will be held on the plateau of the Museum “Battles for the Wounded on the Neretva” in Jablanica at 12 o’clock.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the nationwide anti-fascist uprising of the BiH people and nationalities, the Day of the Uprising of the People in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so, in memory, at 11:50 am, eighty carnations will be lowered into the Neretva.

This year, due to the worsened situation caused by the coronavirus, as well as the recommendation of the crisis headquarters, there will be no ceremonial academies on the occasion of the anniversary of the Battle for the Wounded on the Neretva, the organizers announced.
