8th Giro di Sarajevo to be held Today

giro di sarajevoStreets of the BH capital will belong to cyclists today. Traditional bicycle race Giro di Sarajevo is being held today. For the eighth time, several thousands of cyclists who will drive from Dobrinja to Wilson’s promenade, will gather.

The fight for a BIKEastic Sarajevo is continuing. For the eighth time, cyclists are driving through streets of Sarajevo and drawing attention to problems of the lovers of bicycles.

“Bicycle lanes started to be built, but we have to make a greater effort, we will not give up until Sarajevo becomes a city friendly to bicycles“, is motto of the organizer, Association Giro di Sarajevo.

Association appealed on  all those who want to participate, to come earlier to the starts in order to avoid the crowd. The start space will be opened from 3.00 p.m. until 4.45 p.m., when preparations for the start, that will be at 5.00 p.m., are beginning.

Finish: End of the ride was planned around 6.15 p.m. Fun with the live music and DJ, Coca Cola, info stands of Ciklo Centar and Novo Nordisk will be at the finish.
