talentThis year’s winner of the “Heart of Sarajevo” prize and guest of the SFF, Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal opened the 8th edition of the Talents Sarajevo program of the SFF where his 16 minutes film “De tripas, corazon” was shown.

Ivana Pekušić, the manager of the project Talents Sarajevo, said for the AA that this year’s program gathered 69 participants.

“They have the chance to work with directors, actors, producers and for the first time – with photography directors.” – pointed out Pekušić.

The six days program includes workshops, lectures and discussions.

“The program also includes festival excursions where all participants will have the chance to work with professionals from the region and the world.” – said Pekušić.

Dieter Kosslick, director of the Berlinale and guest of this year’s SFF also talked to the participants and commented on a good organization of the festival.

“I must admit that this looks very different than 10 years before. We must all watch movies because movies have an ability to influence people, they can change human lives.” – said Kosslik.

After the projection, a discussion of the participants and the guests will be held, and a photo session afterwards.
