Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGC), the Congress of North American Bosniaks (CNAB) and the war camp detainees association ‘Prijedor 92’ are calling on organizations and communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and diaspora to mark January 9th as the beginning of aggression and genocide in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In their joint letter, they stated that by marking January 9 as the day of the beginning of aggression and genocide in Bosnia-Herzegovina, we send a clear message to the anti-Bosnian coalition that we know what the historical and legal facts about that shameful date are.
“We ask the pro-Bosnian coalition, especially the international community, for concrete action to punish everyone who, by marking that day, as the day of Republika Srpska, is directly working not only against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also against peace and security in the world, against the European Union, NATO, a, United Nations,” it is said in a statement signed by the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGC), the Congress of North American Bosniaks (CNAB) and the war camp detainees association ‘Prijedor 92’.”
They recall that the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered a decision declaring the Law on Holidays of Republika Srpska unconstitutional, Federal News Agency reported.
