Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković (People and Justice Party) said after the first session of the Council of Ministers in the new convocation that at the next session the director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) Osman Mehmedagić should be relieved of his duties.
“The issue of procedure in this sense is completely clear. It will happen the fastest because the law requires it. I expect that at the next session we will dismiss director Mehmedagić and appoint a new director and his deputy,” stressed Konaković.
He says that at today’s session, decisions were adopted that are important for the further work of the BiH Council of Ministers, and the Committee for Internal Policy and the Committee for the Economy of the Council of Ministers of BiH were formed.
“We had a lot of work waiting for us, we have more than 600 materials in the process that are somewhere in some drawers. It is noted that political tension is the reason behind all these blockades. We have a lot of work,” he added.
Today, in two processes at the Agency for Doping and the Agency for Labor and Employment, in which they extended acting mandates to directors so as not to block the work of those institutions, said Konaković.
He pointed out that they announced that their policies cannot be implemented by people they do not trust, who are from the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Democratic Front (DF), but want their own staff at the head of the institutions.
“For those we offer as candidates, their biographies will be publicly available. We believe that only such people can implement what we promised the citizens,” Konaković added, Fena reports.
