President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A welcoming ceremony with military honors was held in front of the BiH Presidency building, and Aliyev was welcomed by the Chairman and members of the state presidency Željka Cvijanović, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić.
A joint declaration on strategic partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed today in Sarajevo.
The declaration was signed by the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At yesterday’s session, the BiH Presidency approved the signing of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between BiH and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The signing of this document was preceded by meetings in the BiH Presidency, first a tête-à-tête meeting of the BiH Presidency members with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and then a meeting of the official delegations of BiH and Azerbaijan.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in BiH leading a numerous delegation from that country.
