According to the latest information from the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Amman (Jordan), there is a family from BiH in Syria who wants to evacuate.

It is a father who is a BiH citizen and three children, two of whom have BiH citizenship and travel documents, while the youngest child and his wife are Syrian citizens.

The people named have expressed a desire to evacuate and they are currently the focus of the Crisis Team’s activities – said the Head of the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Nebojša Regoje.

He stated that, according to information provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Amman in April 2024, there are 91 BiH citizens in Syrian refugee camps, prisons and juvenile detention centers. However, this is information whose number is difficult to determine precisely.
