A forty-eight-year-old Woman killed her Husband in Sarajevo

A forty-eight-year-old woman killed her husband in her apartment in Sarajevo after midnight last night.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced that the ambulance confirmed the death upon arrival.

“On September 11, 2024, at around 3:25 a.m., the Novi Grad Police Department was informed that the murder of 58-year-old S.J. from Sarajevo had been committed in an apartment in Novi Grad Municipality. The death was confirmed by a doctor from the Emergency Department. the medical aid of Sarajevo Canton,” the police announced.

The on-site investigation, led by the on-duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, was carried out by police officers of the Police Department of the MUP of the Canton of Sarajevo.

The body of the deceased was transported to the “Bare” prosecutor’s office, where an autopsy will be performed by order of the prosecutor.

Suspected of the murder, his wife Dž.J., born in 1976 in Sarajevo, was taken to official premises and will be criminally processed during the day.

Police officers are working on documenting this criminal act.
