A Nazi symbol, a swastika, was drawn on the recently opened Mostar gallery The Hub of Fine Arts, and everything was reported to the police.

As announced by the Ministry of Interior of the Herzegovina Neretva Canton, the police established that a swastika measuring 100×150 centimeters was drawn on the eastern side of the gallery building with white lacquer.

An investigation and an interview with the witnesses of the event were carried out. In addition, video surveillance footage of the gallery, as well as surrounding buildings, was taken.

Employees of The Hub of Fine Arts gallery repainted the swastika. The prosecutor’s office has been informed about everything, which will carry out activities to discover the perpetrator and the motive of this act, announced the Ministry of Interior of the HNC.

We remind you that the aforementioned gallery was opened at the end of May, and it exhibits works of art worth as much as 300 million BAM. It is one of the most important galleries in the Balkans. It was opened by an Israeli businessman, president of the Jewish Municipality of Mostar and vice president of the Zrinjski Football Club, Amir Gross Kabiri.

The gallery was opened in the premises of the former Aluminij gallery – a company headed by Kabiri. Among other things, it exhibits the works of French, Italian and Spanish painters, Klix.ba writes.
