Additional Capacity at Isolation Ward in Sarajevo Hospital already filled

In three days, the additional capacity for Covid patients within the General Hospital has already been filled, is stated from the General Hospital “Prim. dr. Abdullah Nakas ”.

Three days ago, the Infectious Diseases Department for the treatment of mild to moderate covid patients of the General Hospital “Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakas ”has a capacity of 30 beds.

Prof. dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanovic, the director of the General Hospital said that the hospital space was being rearranged, and that as of today it was ready to receive infected Covid-19 patients with a light to medium clinical image.

It was then emphasized that the General Hospital would continue to receive other patients, as there had been a large number of neglected cases in the previous period.
