Humanitarian aid was delivered to the Gaza Strip from the air, for the first time since mid-July this year.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that planes were dropping humanitarian aid from the air into the city of Khan Yunis in the south of Gaza.
According to eyewitnesses, boxes with humanitarian aid were dropped by parachutes in the Al-Mawasi region.
At one point, there was a technical failure during the unloading of aid, so some of the boxes fell on the tents of displaced Palestinians, causing casualties.
According to hospital sources, an elderly Palestinian was killed and many others were injured when boxes of humanitarian aid fell on the tents of displaced Palestinians.
This is the first delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza by planes since July 15.
Since the beginning of Israel’s genocidal attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 42,400 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 100,000 injured.
