Vucic ZvizdicAt yesterday’s press conference, Serbian journalists asked Denis Zvizdic, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, to comment on the introduction of sanctions to Milorad Dodik.

Zvizdic reiterated that the authorities in BiH are determined to solve all problems through agreement.

“All decisions at the level of the Presidency, Council of Ministers and the Parliament are adopted by consensus that protects vital interests of all peoples. I must say that for BiH is not good if the leader of one of the most powerful parties is being blacklisted in one of the most powerful countries in the world, the United States, because it is not a good message to foreign investors,” said Zvizdic, while Vucic said that he never talks about the relationship with Sarajevo after meeting with Dodik and that he will not talk about Dodik after a meeting with representatives of BiH,” as reported by Avaz.

He said that Serbia will not impose sanctions against Dodik because he thinks that they are not solution.

“Serbia will not join the sanctions. There is a tacit decision in the Government that we will not let conflicts from 90’s to repeat. We respect BiH as a state, as we respect the RS as an entity, and we will not interfere in their internal affairs. We want to talk about a better life and relationships of our people. Every time we talked was a kind of peace project,” reiterated the Prime Minister of Serbia.

He said that he gave the same answer to Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany when he was asked why Serbia is not following the move of the United States.
