alija delimustaficAlija Delimustafić, who is charged by the Cantonal Prosecution of the Sarajevo Canton for several criminal offenses, should be extradited to BiH today.

After Delimustafić agreed to the simplified extradition to BiH, the Judge Panel of the District Court in Karlovac delivered the paperwork to the Ministry of Justice of Croatia, which approved the extradition of the person against whom a warrant was issued by the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo. Delimustafić was arrested on an international warrant in a bus near Karlovac which operates on the route Rijeka-Zagreb.

Cantonal Court in Sarajevo confirmed that the extradition process is in progress, but they could not specify the date of extradition.

A warrant was issued for Delimustafić after the Court Police could not find him at his place of residence when the Cantonal Court ordered custody for him. The Court Police also could not find Juso Škriljelj, for whom a warrant was also issued, while the suspects Suada Hadžić and Lejla Cerić were taken back to custody.

They are charged with organized crime, abuse of office, violation of law by a judge, money laundering, and fraud.
