Solo exhibition by BiH painter Alma Telibečirević ”Sand painted symbols vol.2” has opened in Squash Blossom club in Phoenix, Arizona.

The exhibition consists of 11 paintings with the symbols of Native Americans. The sand, which was used for painting, was collected from different areas of the USA.

The exhibition was opened by Pakistani journalist and artist Fatima Taliba and also talked about Alma’s work. Numerous guests attended the exhibition.

After first exhibition, which was inspired by medieval Bosnia, and which was exhibited in BiH and Austria, sand art was made in the USA, where Alma came last year, to study PR, which is financed by the US Government.

She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, and she is a freelance painter, project manager and public relations and marketing specialist for various concerts, exhibitions, festivals, seminars and other events. She has organised the Kid’s Festival, the largest independent youth event in Southeast Europe, attended by more than 40,000 children each year

The exhibition in Phoenix will be open in next two weeks.
