Kundurović klix.baAmbassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Japan Anesa Kundurović yesterday laid flowers in the Memorial Park of Peace in Hiroshima, in memory of the victims of atomic weapons, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

Ambassador Kundurović stated that paying tribute to innocent victims is an obligation and that they must not be forgotten because their suffering is a testimony to the disastrous effects and consequences of the use of atomic weapons.

Kundurović hopes that the world leaders will invest maximum efforts in nuclear disarmament and prohibition of use of nuclear weapon, so that tragedies such as Hiroshima and Nagasaki would never happen again.

At the invitation by the mayors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, from August 5 to August 9 Kundurović will attend a commemoration, the marking of the 71st anniversary of the atomic bombing.

Many events are organized within the program of marking the anniversary of the biggest suffering in the history of mankind, from meeting the surviving victims, visiting the Memorial Museum and the Memorial Park of Peace, exhibitions of works dedicated to the victims, meeting the students and officials of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and many others.
