BiH Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic received a letter of credit from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH Margret Maria Uebber.
In her inaugural address, the newly-appointed Ambassador Uebber said that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Germany are interconnected, especially through various trade relations, exchange programs and partnerships between cities, and finally because of the large number of BiH citizens who war found refuge in Germany.
Newly-appointed Ambassador Uebber emphasized that Germany supports the prospect of EU accession for all Western Balkan countries, and wants to see BiH as a strong multi-ethnic state integrated into Euro-Atlantic structures, noting that Germany is a reliable friend and supporter to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this context, Chairman Komsic said that BiH would work to implement the measures and recommendations of the EC Opinion on BiH’s application for EU membership.
