tukaBH athlete Amel Tuka visited Bosnian school in Chicago. While watching footage of the final race in the 800 meters from 2015 when Amel Tuka won gold in Monaco, more than a hundred students were delighted when he ran into their classroom.

Amel came in Chicago together with our famous television presenter Fikret Hodzic, so their joy was twofold. They delighted all present children with appropriate gifts and numerous autographs.

Head of the Bosnian school, Prof. Amina Sendic-Mesic said that their visit is the most beautiful gift to these children and that Amel and Fikret are true ambassadors of BiH. Professor Enisa Omerovic thanked them for coming in the name of children.

Amel Tuka told children to be hardworking students and to learn a lot and work hard, and that success is guaranteed with the help of God.

The Bosnian school in Chicago is working in Bosnian Islamic Cultural Center since 2012 and it is unique in the territory of North America. School has more than one hundred students, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH supported the project through the Consulate General of BiH in Chicago.

Imam of a new center Hafiz Muriz ef. Mesic and President Adis Alic introduced the guests about the project of building the future of the Islamic Cultural Center in Chicago.
