Amir, a boy to whom Dzeko dedicated his 50th Goal, died

amir gljiva edin dzekoSixteen years old boy Amir Gljiva, to whom Edin Dzeko has dedicated his 50th goal in the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, lost his battle for life.

Recently, captain of the national team of BiH Edin Dzeko, has visited seriously ill boy to whom he gave his signed jersey, and when leaving, the boy asked Dzeko to dedicate him his next goal.

Dzeko has done so and scored in a friendly match against Albania.

Unfortunately, Dzeko addressed to the public yesterday, sharing the sad news.

“Life sometimes can be brutal, ruthless and unfair, but we are all fighting in our own way. Unfortunately, Amir Gljiva, the boy I met at the Pediatric Clinic in Sarajevo, lost his battle, but his name will always be in our memories and hearts … I wish him eternal peace in the most beautiful paradise, and patience to his family!” wrote Dzeko on his Facebook profile.
