In these difficult moments, an aid truck was prepared with food, water, sand, and other things, which yesterday headed towards Krajina with 30 volunteers and employees of Pomozi.ba from Sarajevo.
The Pomozi.ba association put into operation the humanitarian number 17041, which donates 2 BAM, considering that a large number of people came forward for help.
“All volunteers who want to join our campaign to help people affected by the floods in Krajina can contact us today by 3:00 p.m. by phone at 062/839-000 or via social media. It leaves Sarajevo today at 4:00 p.m., while the return is planned for Friday, May 19th in the afternoon,” stated Pomozi.ba yesterday.
They added that the Pomozi.ba team from Bihac was on the ground yesterday and helped the victims of this natural disaster.
“In coordination with the Civil Protection of Bihac, water, and food are being distributed to the affected areas, and they are also engaged in filling sandbags. Donations for flood victims are also possible through our website http://www.POMOZIBA.org, giro account, and PayPal with the indication Floods May 2023(Poplave Maj 2023),” Pomozi.ba announced.
