Egypt’s Al-Ghad TV confirmed that its photojournalist Yazan Al-Zuweidi was killed today in Gaza.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that photojournalist Yazan Al-Zuweidi has been killed by Israeli fire,” the television station said in a post on Platform X.
After his murder, this media house appealed to international observers for human rights to hold Israel accountable.
The Committee to Protect Journalists announced that at least 82 media workers have been killed since the start of the war.
