The prosecutor from the Department for Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against the lawyer Vasvija Vidović.

The indictment states that on December 18, 2023, Vidović entered the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency-SIPA in East Sarajevo, invited by the suspect and prisoner Debevec Rank, to represent him in the criminal proceedings as a lawyer.

After she was allowed to communicate with the suspect in special rooms, without the presence of police officers, aware of her illegal actions and with the aim of making it much more difficult to prove criminal offenses in the proceedings before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, knowing that the suspect’s mobile phones should be temporarily confiscated by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, enabled the suspect to insert the mobile device into her bag and thus hide it.

The suspect is accused of having, with the aim of making the proof in the court proceedings much more difficult, hid someone else’s item that serves as proof, thereby committing the criminal offense of Obstructing Evidence.

The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation, announced the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
