Analysis: Who are the wealthiest People in the Region?

[wzslider autoplay=”true” info=”true”] The fact that is not surprising is that the United States is the country with the largest number of billionaires. Right behind the USA comes China, while in Europe, with 120 billionaires, the first place is shared by Germany and the United Kingdom.

After the previously mentioned states, the next state, the one with 88 billionaires, is Russia. Speaking about the other states, the only thing which can be said is that the do not keep pace when these statistics are concerned.

Forbes magazine has presented a list of the world’s billionaires for 2016. Reading through the list, one can notice that there are many people living in the area of the former Yugoslavia and having billions of dollars in their bank accounts.

The richest man in Serbia, Philip Zepter or Milan Jankovic after birth. He is the founder of Zepter International. Although he does not live in Serbia, he has the citizenship – and the wealth of five billion dollars.

Among the richest people in Serbia is Miodrag Kostic, with a fortune of 540 million dollars. Mr. Kostic’s origin is from Montenegro and he is the owner of MK Group. The only man from Serbia, with an address in Serbia as well, is Miroslav Miskovic, with a wealth of 520 million dollars.

Iza and Samo Login is the couple who has earned enormous wealth thanks to the application Talking Tom Cat. Their fortune is estimated at 700 million dollars. Moreover, Joc Pečečnik, the owner of Interblock, with a fortune of 266 million dollars, is the second wealthiest Slovenian.

In Croatia, officially the richest is the Croatian-Chilean Luksic family, with a net worth of 15 billion dollars. After them, the second wealthiest is the Austrian-Croatian billionaire Dietrich Matesic, the owner of Red Bull, with a fortune of 10.8 billion dollars.

They are followed by Ivica Todoric, owner of Agrokor, with 499 million dollars, and Emil Tedeschi, owner of Atlantic Group, with a net worth of 208 million dollars.

Speaking about Macedonia, Forbes says As for Macedonia, Forbes says that Jordan Kamcev, the owner of Orka Holding, with 238 million dollars worth wealth is the richest one. The second is Minco Jordanov, owner of Makstil with 234 million dollars.

Additionally, the richest Macedonian nonresident is Mike Ilitch, founder of fast-food franchise Little Caesars Pizza, owner of the Detroit Red Wings, NHL teams and Detroit Tigers team of MLB, with a fortune of 6.1 billion dollars.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kenan and Damir Hastor, who inherited Prevet and ASA Group from their father Nijaz, are considered the richest Bosnians, possessing 412 million dollars. Behind them is Izudin Ahmetlić, owner HIFA Group, with a wealth of 364 million dollars.

In the end, Montenegro – officially the richest man is Thaksin Shinawatra, the former prime minister of Thailand who lives and works in Montenegro, with a wealth of 1.61 billion dollars. The second richest family in this country is the family of Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic, who possess 167 million dollars.
