Political analyst Jasmin Mujanovic reacted to the statements of the Russian ambassador Igor Kalabuhov that they are only asking for respect for the constitutionality of the people in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), saying that Moscow is sponsoring Serbian and Croatian nationalist camps in BiH.
Mujanovic harshly criticized the attitudes and intentions of Russia in BiH.
”Some of the clearest conceptual indications to date how Moscow sponsors the Serb and Croat nationalist camps in BiH, along with the claim of the Russian Ambassador to BiH that the Kremlin champions the sectarian ”constituent peoples” concept that is at the heart of nearly every ruling against BiH at the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR),” Mujanovic stated.
He also referred to the initiation of the investigation against Oliver Varhelyi in the European Parliament.
”Very good news. I commend Thijs Reuten for spearheading this important initiative. Orban cannot be allowed to comprise the security and stability of the Western Balkans via his apparatchik Oliver Varhelyi, which is currently happening, especially in BiH,” Mujanovic added.
To recall, the Russian ambassador to BiH, Igor Kalabuhov, said that Russia’s cooperation with the BiH entity Republika Srpska (RS) is at a high level.
”If someone has good relations with the United States (U.S.), that’s great, but when someone has good relations with Russia, it’s terrible. We in BiH demand respect for the constitution of the people, that we have good cooperation with the Serbs, but also with the Croats and Bosniaks, and that the Dayton Peace Agreement be respected, and that does not suit many,”Kalabuhov stated.
Moreover, he does not see the reason why the award that Milorad Dodik awarded to Russian President Vladimir Putin is disputed by the West.
”It is the sovereign decision of the President of the RS, the management of the RS to give awards, it is their decision and we are grateful for the award to President Putin,” he concluded, Klix.ba reports.
