The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed Darko Ćulum and the Communications Regulatory Agency (RAK) Draško Milinović as the new directors of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) on Tuesday.

Dragan Prusina was appointed to the position of the director of the Official Gazette of BiH, while Marko Vujević was appointed the director of the Agency for Education and Professional Development of Personnel, Fena news agency reports.

The Ministers were informed about the expiration of the mandate and the initiation of the procedure for the election and appointment of the Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina and took note of the Information on the expiration of the mandate of the Director of the European Integration Directorate.

This was confirmed to journalists after the session by the chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija (Alliance of Independent Social Democrats – SNSD), explaining that due to previous misunderstandings, two sessions of the Council of Ministers were held, one of which was staff appointments.

The decision to appoint to important BiH institutions followed an agreement between the leaders of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), Bakir Izetbegovic, Dragan Covic and Milorad Dodik last week.

According to the agreement, Tegeltija should propose to the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly the appointment of Selmo Cikotic (SDA) as the new Minister of Security of BiH.
