Approved Funds for the Employment of 475 Interns

session At its regular session, the Government of CS approved obtaining internship experience for 475 young people registered as unemployed at the Employment Service of Canton Sarajevo (CS), .

This was enabled by adopting the List of applicants – employers who meet the requirements for participation in the Program for co-financing employment of interns with university degree, higher education, high school education and skilled qualifications as required in the Public invitation that was published on the 6th and 7th of June this year, which is in accordance with the Program of measures for incentives for employment and maintaining higher rates of employment in Canton Sarajevo in 2016.

The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for employment and training of young people without work experience for independent work in their professions, or obtaining internship experience for unemployed young people without work experience, registered as unemployed in Canton Sarajevo before the announcement of Public invitation.

The planned funds for this purpose amount to 3 million BAM, and will be used for hiring 375 interns with university degree (VSS) and higher education (VŠS) and 100 interns with secondary school education (SSS) and skilled qualifications (KV).

To employers who are covered by the Program of co-financing employment of interns and sign the contract with people from the target group, and register them  on the pension and disability and health insurance in accordance with the Labor Law, the PI ‘Employment Service of CS’ will refund funds in the monthly amount of 600 BAM for interns with university degree (VSS) and higher education (VŠS), and 500 BAM for interns with secondary school education (SSS) and skilled qualifications (KV) qualifications per every newly employed person for the payment of salaries and statutory contributions.

At this session, the government determined the Draft Decision on determining the public interest for the establishment of the PI Primary School ‘Sip’ Sarajevo, as announced from the Press Service of CS.
